International Women's Day

International Women's Day, marked on March 8th, offered an opportunity to come together, reflect, and recognise the strength and resilience of women. At GENSAT, we marked the occasion with a meaningful gathering focused on connection, support, and looking ahead.
Women involved in the programme came together in a warm and welcoming space to share breakfast, kindly provided by Kafe Konnect. The morning created an opportunity for conversation, reflection, and a sense of community among those attending.
A particularly meaningful part of the gathering was the creation of a time capsule in our women's garden. Each participant took time to write down her ideas, hopes, and aspirations for the future. These were placed into envelopes, sealed, and added to the capsule, which will be opened on International Women's Day 2027.
This simple but powerful activity allowed for both personal reflection and a shared sense of purpose. It marked not only where each woman is now, but also where she hopes to be in the future.
While International Women's Day has passed, the values it represents continue throughout the year. At GENSAT, we remain committed to supporting women in a way that is compassionate, confidential, and tailored to their individual journey.
