GENSAT is available to women aged 18 and over living in Wexford, Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny, and South Tipperary who are experiencing issues related to substance misuse.

2. Do I need a referral to access the service?

No, self-referrals are welcome.

3. Is the service confidential?

Yes. All of our services are provided in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment. Your privacy is a top priority.

4. What kind of support do you offer?

We provide one-to-one counselling, online sessions, peer support groups, and workshops. Our support is trauma-informed and tailored to each woman's needs.

5. How do I book an online session?

You can book an online session directly through our [Book a Session] page. Simply choose a time that works for you, and we'll send you the details for a private, secure video session.

6. What happens in a one-to-one session?

You'll meet with a trained professional who will listen, support you, and help you explore your goals. We use evidence-based techniques like Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to guide the conversation.

7. Do you offer in-person services?

Yes. We offer both in-person and online support, depending on your needs and location. We aim to be as flexible and accessible as possible.

8. Is there a cost for this services?

No, GENSAT services are free of charge.

9. What if I'm dealing with other challenges, like housing or mental health?

We understand that substance use is often connected to other life challenges. Our team takes a holistic approach and can help you explore additional supports, including mental health services, housing resources, and community referrals.
